The project is complemented by the construction of the first 3 sections of the Uyuni Highway - Hito LX, which is part of the Fundamental Road Network - RFV No. 5 and structures the South Central Corridor. The initiative will promote tourism development in the region, due to the presence of the Salar de Uyuni; as well as productive, due to the extraction of fertilizers, non-metallic minerals and lithium. In addition, it will strengthen regional integration by giving continuity to the road corridor that will connect with Chile through Route 5.
