Hydro Dam

Description: The project, part of two plants planned for a waterfall on the Patuca river, consists of the construction of a hydroelectric power plant with an average production of 973GWh/y and a useful volume of 924Mm3. The approximate area of the reservoir is 36.08km2. The project will meet the energy demand of the Department of Olancho and the country by injecting the energy generated into the National Interconnected System (SIN) and contribute to the integral and sustainable development of the eastern zone of Honduras.
