It will treat 62% of Dosquebradas' wastewater and 85% of Pereira's. It will help to decontaminate the Consota river. The project will be carried out in two phases. The first phase contemplates primary treatment while the second phase will incorporate secondary treatment. Work will be carried out along the Otún river, in the Cerritos sector, Risaralda department, Colombia. The plant will provide drinking water to more than 79,000 inhabitants of both municipalities.
