During its execution, 2,240 jobs will be generated and its construction will benefit 679,000 inhabitants, improving connectivity with four states: Guanajuato, Querétaro, Jalisco and the State of Mexico, as well as with Mexico City. Also, it will promote the development of the port of Lázaro Cárdenas . This project is the continuation of the Pátzcuaro - Uruapan Highway and is part of the Federal Concession of the Michoacán Highway package.
