Description: Urban drainage infrastructure improvement works, aiming to reduce the risk of flooding, inundation and flooding – Ariri creek channel. Residents of the municipality of Ananindeua and inhabitants of the metropolitan region of Belém who need to circulate through the areas of influence of the Ariri canal in the stretches between the neighborhoods of 40 horas and Cidade Nova. The project consists of the implementation of roads along the banks of the streams, the rectification of the drainage systems for the flow of water and the installation of drainage systems on the roads to receive water from the adjacent basins. In this way, the aim is to avoid, especially during the rainy season, the overflow of the canal, the formation of floods and the formation of currents that invade the houses, causing material damage and representing a structural risk to the buildings. The execution of this work/intervention will allow the city government of Ananindeua to incorporate the canal into the urban landscape, through rectification and lining, ensuring the continuous flow of water. The investment will provide improvements in urban mobility, with the creation of paved side roads that will often serve as connections and arteries to neighboring neighborhoods, reducing congestion. Approximately 150,000 people will benefit from this project. ID: 42425.15-56
