In addition, it contemplates the construction and operation of a step-up substation and a double-circuit transmission line. The photovoltaic park is located in San José, department of Escuintla, Guatemala. The plant will generate an estimated production of 165GWh/year. This represents the equivalent of the annual consumption of 41,000 families and will prevent the emission of more than 80,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.
