The project will include a 15-minute cable car ride to the Choquequirao ruins, with a transport capacity of up to 400 passengers per hour and it will generate the conditions for more than one million tourists to visit the Archaeological Park, which will mean a considerable increase compared to the 8,000 people that currently visit per year. The cable car is part of the project "Improvement of the Public Tourist Services of the Choquequirao Archaeological Park".
